Who we are

A Space for Dialogue and Self-Regulation of Practices Related to Entheogens

The Red Micelio Federation stands as a beacon to illuminate a territory that has been in darkness for too many decades. Coming together, from different backgrounds, lineages, approaches and perspectives, we share the task of preserving the knowledge and the practices that come from a long tradition. With responsibility, trust in our peers and determination, we continue to walk this path and we invite organizations that feel challenged to join FERM and to contribute their grain of sand in the definition and achievement of our objectives.

Our Mission

A Space for Dialogue and Self-Regulation of Practices Related to Entheogens

The Red Micelio Federation (FERM) is a meeting point for entities dedicated to the study and work with entheogens. We want to contribute to the end of policies based on prohibition, ignorance and stigma in our context. To this end, we promote meetings, trainings, activities and give support to FERM’s member organizations. We are guided by a code of ethics, peer participation and commitment to preserve knowledge and practices that can bring great individual and community benefit if used appropriately.

Our Work

Promoting Recognition, Dignity and Social Justice in the Field of Entheogens

The so-called psychedelic renaissance is accompanied by ambiguities that could leave those of us who have sustained the scene of the ceremonial use of entheogens off the board. The intention of the Red Micelio Federation (FERM) is to stand as a counterforce to reduce the vulnerability and stigma that hangs over the collective and to have a greater power of representation than the current policies give us.
