Types of Membership

1. Federated Association

You will gain access to a network of support and collaboration with multiple benefits, including:

Participation in the General Assembly with voice and vote: Actively take part in key decisions, contributing your opinion and helping to define the direction of the federation.

Legal advice from specialized lawyers: Access a network of legal experts, receive guidance, advice, and expert legal training to resolve doubts or protect your rights.

Training and growth: Access courses, workshops, and activities on risk reduction and best practices that allow you to improve your skills or those of your organization (e.g., Ayasafe from ICEERS).

Orientation meetings with facilitator psychologists: Participate in working groups with experienced professionals in risk reduction and practice improvement, strengthening your actions.

Right to use the Federation’s logo in your communications: Enhance your image and prestige by including the official federation emblem in your materials and messages.

Peer meetings to share experiences and best practices: Join groups and exchange knowledge and learnings with other FERM members, enriching your practices.

Access to documentation, files, internal communications, and specialized directories: Consult valuable resources and stay updated with exclusive information for members.

Quality analysis and control in specialized laboratories: Ensure the quality and safety of samples with professional services.

Collaboration in scientific studies alongside ICEERS and other organizations: Participate in innovative research that promotes knowledge and scientific advancement.

Representation and collective voice: Being part of the federation gives you a stronger voice before institutions, governments, or other entities, defending our rights.

Support in key moments: Receive help and guidance in complicated situations, such as legislative changes, crises, or specific needs.

Participation in innovative projects: Be part of initiatives and joint working groups that drive collective progress.

Cost savings: Benefit from discounts, shared services, or economies of scale that the federation can negotiate for its members.

€5 discount on the FERM fee if their representatives are already members of a federated association of FERM.

Requirements: Aimed at legally constituted non-profit associations. Compliance with the FERM Code of Ethics, payment of dues and active participation in the federation.

What does the membership process to the Red Micelio Federation consist of?

  • Complete the pre-registration form.
    Payment of €50 to request the membership interview.
    Attach the following documentation:
    ✅ Approved official statutes
    ✅ Tax Identification Number (CIF) of the association
    ✅ Copy of registration in the Associations Registry
    ✅ Association Project (A brief document explaining its annual activity plan and a list of links: website, social media, etc., if available)
  • Presentation of the following documentation:
    ✅ Prior to the interview: Copy of the Internal Assembly Minutes where the admission to FERM is approved by favorable vote (valid for 3 months).
    Joint review of the documentation and resolution of doubts.
    After the interview: Evaluation of compliance with FERM's Ethical Code.

After the evaluation, one of the following options will be determined:

1️⃣ Acceptance as a Federated Association → The application is sent to the next General Assembly of FERM for approval as a full federated association.

2️⃣ Association "In the process of joining" → An adhesion plan is developed with three key areas:

- Participation in orientation groups on risk reduction and best practices (offered to 2 representatives of the association in the process of joining. There is a possibility to expand to more members of the association with an additional contribution).
- Integration into the legal/juridical advisory service.
- Mandatory attendance at the initial weekend workshop of Red Micelio (two annual editions: Catalonia and Madrid).

3️⃣ End of the membership process → The Federation may decide not to continue with the process, or the candidate association may withdraw its application.

To formalize the membership, the association must present:

Membership document to the Federation, signed by a representative of the association and the Presidency of the Federation, indicating the date of admission.

✅ Commitment document to comply with the Statutes and Internal Regulations of the Federation.

✅ Commitment document to comply with the Ethical Code.

2. Supporter Association

You will contribute to the objectives of the Federation, expanding its base and providing greater representation and legitimacy. Additionally, you will gain access to key resources for the development of your entity.

Participation in the General Assembly with voice and NO VOTE: Actively take part in meetings, contributing your opinion and helping to achieve the objectives of the federation.

Proposal of agenda items for the Assembly, with prior approval from the Technical Committee.

Legal advice from lawyers: Access a network of specialized legal experts.

Collaboration in scientific studies alongside ICEERS and other organizations: Participate in innovative research that promotes knowledge and scientific advancement.

Collective representation: Supporting the federation helps achieve our objectives and provides a stronger voice before institutions, governments, or other entities, defending our rights.

Access to exclusive resources: Enjoy discounts on training, advice, and support available to supporter members.

Support in key moments: Receive help and guidance in complicated situations, such as legislative changes, crises, or specific needs.

€5 discount on the FERM fee if their representatives are already members of a federated association of FERM.

Attention, important:

❌ Supporter associations DO NOT have the right to use the Federation’s logo.

📌 Important:

To be a Supporter Association, it is necessary to complete the membership process, be up to date with payments, sign the commitment letters, and receive approval from the General Assembly.

What does the membership process for Supporter Associations consist of?

  • To initiate the membership process as a Supporter Association, you must:

    ✅ Complete the pre-registration form.
    ✅ Make a payment of €50 to request the interview.
    ✅ Attach the following documentation:

    - Approved official statutes
    - Tax Identification Number (CIF) of the association
    - Copy of registration in the Associations Registry
    - Association Project (A brief document explaining its annual activity plan and a list of links: website, social media, etc., if available)

During the interview, the following will take place:

✅ Presentation of the association.
✅ Information about the benefits of membership:

- Discounted access to orientation spaces on risk reduction and best practices, as well as legal advice.
- Discounts on training.

✅ Confirmation of alignment with the Federation's Ethical Code. It is essential to respect certain minimum fundamental principles. During the interview, the compatibility of the association with these core values will be reviewed. In the case of significant differences that go against the ethical foundation of the Federation, membership may not be accepted.

✅ The association will be registered as a Supporter Association and will become part of the Federation.
✅ Its incorporation will be announced at the next General Assembly.
✅ It will be included in the distribution list to receive updated information about the activities and resources of the Federation.

3. Allied Organizations and Individuals

Collective representation: By supporting the federation, you help us achieve our objectives and have a stronger voice before institutions, governments, or other entities, defending the rights of individuals and communities that use entheogens.

Access to a communication channel: Receive information about activities, training, and events of interest to the FERM community.
Discounts on training related to risk reduction and best practices.
(for minimum monthly contributions of €30 or more)
Assistance with general inquiries via email.

Attention, important:

❌ Friend organizations and individuals DO NOT have the right to use the Federation’s logo.

📌 Requirements:

– Complete the friendship application.
– Stay up to date with the payment of the fee.
– Minimum annual donation of €60 (€5/month).
– Adherence to the objectives of the Federation.
