Our Work

Working Toward Positive Change Around Entheogens

At Red Micelio Federation, we are committed to ending outdated policies based on prohibition and stigma surrounding Western practices related to plants, mushrooms and other entheogens. Our goal is to promote a more informed and compassionate approach to these substances.

Supporting Our Partner Organizations

The Red Micelio Federation supports its partner organizations in several ways:

Promotion of Best Practices: We share best practice models and self-regulation to ensure safety and ethics in the use of entheogens.

  • Political Representation and Human Rights Advocacy: We provide support in political representation and human rights advocacy, advocating for a more just and compassionate approach to those working with entheogens.
  • Legal Advice: We provide legal advice to our members to ensure that they are informed and protected in their activities.
  • Fostering Collaboration: We facilitate collaboration among our partners, promoting the sharing of knowledge and resources.
  • Promoting Health and Self-Determination: We defend the right to health and personal self-determination, advocating for freedom of choice in treatment and promoting the physical and mental well-being of those who work with entheogens.
  • Social Justice: We advocate for recognition, dignity and social justice for individuals and groups connected to entheogens.
  • Survivor Support: We provide support and guidance to people who have experienced abuse in the context of entheogen-related practices, including power, economic, and sexual abuse.
  • Promoting Sustainability: We foster a sustainable relationship between society and the world of entheogens, recognizing the importance of preserving these resources in a responsible manner.

At Red Micelio Federation, we believe in a holistic approach that promotes safety, responsibility and respect for people and entheogens. Together, we are working towards a more compassionate and comprehensive future in this field.
