Online workshop: how to create and care for an association, step by step
Monday 23 November, 7–9 pm (Spanish mainland time), online. A Red Micelio Federation workshop on the community or shared-use association model.

The Red Micelio Federation (FERM) is organising an online workshop on creating and responsibly running associations linked to the study, community use and shared consumption of entheogens in Spain.
Language
The workshop will be given in Spanish. Only if there is enough demand will we also hold a session in English: if you are interested, write to us at info@redmicelio.org.
Why the Federation is organising it
The Federation brings together associations from Spain and other countries that work with entheogenic plants, fungi and psychedelic substances. We work for the self-regulation of the sector: a common code of ethics, good practices and risk reduction, a Support Network for anyone who has experienced bad practice, and dialogue with institutions to move towards fair regulation.
This workshop grows out of that. A well-founded, well-run association is the basis of that self-regulation: the more associations work with transparency and responsibility, the stronger we will all be in seeking recognition.
What we will cover
The association model can help give structure to a shared responsibility, but it is not an automatic formula and does not remove risks. In two hours we will go through the legal framework, founding and statutes, the board, economic and tax management, members, public communication, risk reduction and the code of ethics.
Who it is for
- People who guide or accompany sessions with entheogenic plants, fungi or psychedelic substances in Spain, especially those who have not yet set up an association.
- Groups and collectives considering setting up an association.
- People who are already part of an association, and board members.
What it will be like
- Online and live, with time for questions.
- A confidential space: you can take part without a camera and under the name you prefer.
- Afterwards you will receive a checklist to set up your association or review the one you already have.
- Price: €60 until Sunday 25 October (then €85), VAT exempt.
The workshop offers general information and does not replace individual legal advice.
